Baffles
Palmer Mfg. constructs two main styles of baffles for mixing and/or breaking up fluids. The most popular style is shown. The baffle is constructed of fiberglass plate or high-quality carbon steel and runs the entire length of the tank. The plate is supported by plate gussetts, giving the baffle th strength to maintain shape while mixing or turbulent motion is taking place. The size and number of baffles is dependent on the size of your tank. Please call us for more information.
Palmer Mfg. can design and manufacture a support for any type of mixer. The support can be made of either fiberglass or steel, depending on your preferences and the type of operation. The roof of your vessel will also be designed to support the additional loadings and to withstand the cyclic loads of the mixer.
